Introduction

I’m Mutyala Saikrishna. I come from a background in technical recruitment and recently started my journey into digital marketing. As I dive into this new domain, one concept keeps coming up everywhere: SEO. I didn’t know much about it at first, but now I’m learning to use SEO not just for work—but to build my personal online presence. This post is about how I'm applying SEO rules in a simple, personal way, especially through platforms like Medium.

🧠 Why SEO Matters to Me

When I began transitioning into digital marketing, I asked myself one question:  

How can people discover me online.

The answer? SEO.

Search Engine Optimization isn’t just for big companies or blogs. It’s for anyone who wants to be visible, be valuable, and be found. That includes me.

 ✅ SEO Rules I Follow (As a Beginner)

I keep it simple, practical, and consistent. These are the basic rules I try to apply in every post or piece of content I share:

1. Focus on One Keyword  

Before writing, I decide on one main topic or phrase—like learning SEO as a beginner or Medium SEO for personal growth. I try to:

include it in my title

- Use it in the first paragraph  

- Mention it naturally throughout the post  

 2. Structure Using Headings  

I break down my posts using clear headings (H2/H3). It helps readers scan easily, and it helps Google understand the content.

3. Keep It Human  

I don’t force keywords or try to “hack” SEO. Instead, I focus on writing naturally, like I’m having a conversation with someone who’s curious about the same things I’m learning.

🔗 4. Add Useful Links  

If I mention tools, tips, or other writers, I try to link them. It builds trust and improves SEO too.

As someone who’s still learning, I don’t use premium tools. These work great for me:

- Ubersuggest – for basic keyword research  

- Google Trends – to find trending topics  

- Grammarly – to improve readability  

🌱 My SEO Journey: Just Getting Started

Medium is my playground. It’s where I:

- Practice content writing  

- Learn SEO by doing  

- Share my thoughts on motivation, lifestyle, and agriculture  

- Build my digital footprint, one article at a time
